Hello, and thank you for being here. For eight years, I worked in the heart of car dealerships, witnessing firsthand the confusion and frustration drivers face. That's why I've decided to start something new, something I hope will genuinely help you navigate the world of car care with confidence.
Over the years, I’ve seen it all: New cars. Old cars. Rusted bolts. Electrical nightmares. Panic over warning lights. Confusion over repair bills. Honest mechanics. Dishonest ones too. Drivers with no clue what was going on and no one willing to explain it clearly. That’s why I started The Owner’s Blog.
Why I’m Here…
I’ve worked closely with service advisors, technicians, and customers. I’ve watched dealer prices scare people out of necessary repairs, and I’ve seen poor work from private garages create even bigger problems. I’ve also seen the impact of good work and the relief that comes from someone finally explaining the problem without jargon or pressure.
That moment when I was able to sit down with someone, explain clearly what their car needed (and what it didn’t), and help them feel in control always gave me a real sense of pride.
Now I’ve left the trade to take that knowledge further. Working within the system, I often felt limited in how much direct, unbiased help I could offer. The Owner’s Blog allows me to bridge that gap, sharing transparent insights directly with you, without the pressures of a sales target or a busy workshop.
This blog is for anyone who:
- Drives but isn’t sure what their mechanic is talking about
- Is buying a car and wants to feel confident, not clueless
- Wants to keep their vehicle in good shape without being upsold every time they visit a garage
I’ll share:
- Straightforward explanations of common car problems
- Maintenance tips to keep your vehicle reliable

No overcomplicated language. No pressure. Just honest insights, simplified and made useful for the everyday driver.
My Mission
I’m not here to bash the trade as there are good people out there doing honest work. But I know how easy it is to lose trust in garages, especially when prices skyrocket or repairs sound confusing.
I want to raise awareness, help people understand their cars better, and make sure no driver feels taken advantage of again.
Whether it’s your first car, a family vehicle, or something you’re thinking of buying, I hope my knowledge helps you feel more informed, confident, and in control.
